Let's go!<p></p><h2 style="text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwnIkpI8yM5Xjm2TWHTRvS_EndaYlqNA8N3d2f9GZSesVAEKhS2065mckgyOegePet3SaQLCszevUfcIOtQiltlns4pUMA2-DDvhuVGEYHXlu14Ik-xotUqZldLrYV2_5WHRTbDGfUCAUT0U-n6xy8cbZlkB_wXKj67COrxwVMgOrPJQw2bz-xuBWYgw/s800/5s-method-organization.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="5s method of organization" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwnIkpI8yM5Xjm2TWHTRvS_EndaYlqNA8N3d2f9GZSesVAEKhS2065mckgyOegePet3SaQLCszevUfcIOtQiltlns4pUMA2-DDvhuVGEYHXlu14Ik-xotUqZldLrYV2_5WHRTbDGfUCAUT0U-n6xy8cbZlkB_wXKj67COrxwVMgOrPJQw2bz-xuBWYgw/w640-h480/5s-method-organization.jpg" title="5s method of organization" width="640" /></a></div> </h2><h2 style="text-align: left;">Your brain needs the order<br /></h2><p>We don't need to appeal to universities researches (though there're a lot of them) to realise that the order in the space around us affects to our well being.</p><p>Brain, just like a computer, orders the information it catches to be more efficient, the more distractions there're, more garbage will sneak between that information and it will be more difficult to access later to all those memories.</p><p>Noises, unsuitable light or interruptions are clear examples of outside elements that difficult our concentration.<br /></p><p>But, what about objects order?</p><p>Maybe you're one of those that have always lived in the chaos and you're now thinking that this isn't for you.</p><p>Believe me, I also used to think that....</p><p>But, life happens, and with the pass of the years, I've realized that I'm not just more efficient in an organized space, but also it's somehow a weight-lightener when I clear the space I have in front of me (any of them, the desk, the kitchen or even the garage...) <br /></p><h2 style="text-align: left;">5S method <br /></h2><p>Curiously this method comes from car industry, from Toyota factories more concretely, it was developed during the 60s to create more organized work spaces and to improve the work environment.</p><p>Of course, the 5S are the japanese capilal letters of the words, however it sounds great so....</p>There we go<br /><h3 style="text-align: left;">Seiri (classification)</h3><p>Classificate the objects in groups: to keep, to use and to get rid of (donate, sell or throw away).</p><p>This remind us to Konmari method, you have to go room by room taking everything you have inside any closet, shelves, anywhere, put it over the floor and sort it in four groups:</p><p>- what you want to keep but it's not for regular use</p><p>- what you use and need to keep close by</p><p>- what you don't want nor use, but it may have a second life</p><p>- what you don't want nor use and you wouldn't give it even your worse enemy...<br /></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Seito (order)</h3><p>Once you have clear what you want/need to keep it's the moment to place each object in its place.</p><p>For that purpose think about the frecuency you need to use it and where is the most practical place to have it, use the high part of the closets, the storage beside the bed, or the storage room for things you barely use, well, you know...<br /></p><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Seiso (cleaning)</h3><p>We will start by cleaning just in the moment to replace the objects, and after that, you may create a daily cleaning routine, you don't have to clean all your home everyday, is just to make a bit everyday to keep everything clean. <br /></p><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Seiketsu (standardization)</h3><p>Take the habit to keep the order everyday. If you get in the habit of putting away each thing just after using it, you will get used to do it and it won't cost you to keep everything visually organized. <br /></p><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Shitsuke (perseverance)</h3><p>No change is forever if you don't keep yourself perseverant, simplify your life making automatic the processes, things so simple as putting the kitchen gadgets in the dishwasher as soon as you stop using it or put everything in its place in the moment you don't need to use it anymore, will make the difference. <br /></p><p>Because, yah, it happens to everyone, you think, bah, when I finish cooking I will pick up everything in once, but if you use the cooking or repose times to retire things, later it will be easier to have everything under control.<br /></p><br />Estherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01101999239152158766noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700154605217010774.post-79386021962855610472022-11-25T17:48:00.001+01:002022-11-25T17:48:19.303+01:0012 Days of Christmas printable<p> Hi there!</p><p>One of my favourite Christmas carols is The Twelve Days of Christmas, so, I've made this printable with the images I found about it in <a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twelve_Days_of_Christmas" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a> (Spanish version).</p><p>And now I have this beautiful picture over the chimney :)<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAvsQJ-RvTxLl1DPiRCA6OwrX5q59VcXcF4Nl3-K0PNrr6-gQqw-PFyA8rw4OBZgtsPnn1ln1TjkH_jCMcitp9RAE_Tkm0Ms_QMoKVyMvX1aW9j5iS5quTBPULin62P69nzTC7FkKlF0ZMryXPil1eWdxy1oVdvS5wsmTpiFCvuHUQueRNKghAncZDiA/s1200/12-DAYS-CHRISTMAS-PRINTABLE.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="12 Days of Christmas picture" border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAvsQJ-RvTxLl1DPiRCA6OwrX5q59VcXcF4Nl3-K0PNrr6-gQqw-PFyA8rw4OBZgtsPnn1ln1TjkH_jCMcitp9RAE_Tkm0Ms_QMoKVyMvX1aW9j5iS5quTBPULin62P69nzTC7FkKlF0ZMryXPil1eWdxy1oVdvS5wsmTpiFCvuHUQueRNKghAncZDiA/w266-h400/12-DAYS-CHRISTMAS-PRINTABLE.png" title="12 days of Christmas printable" width="266" /></a></div> <p></p><p>You may download it here: <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/14NxSotmgGs2vp2Sqb6gwHj2Jr-3HMxbm/view?usp=sharing" target="_blank">12 Days of Christmas Printable</a>. How to unclog a sink in an ecological way.</p><p>So, we all know there're a lot of chemical products that clean the pipes and unclog the sink drain quite well, but it's also well known that they're quite contaminant, so I present you an ecological (and economical) way of doing this task.</p><p>You will only need two cups of baking soda and a cup of vinegar.</p><p>Do you want to know how to do it?</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-bvB6Lj8BwIUpACg4b19TfzbBqjNZS5i1Hrpc1ttJkYIokdh0R1PWWikoJ6KP_cbdIBWQYghZGPY_9rbThCzG4lJTgzKp2med15y7_qKYRY3ujuuNhORddwvNSbbc-EsseBvcCymA-iFN/s800/unclog-sink-drain.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="How to unclog a sink drain" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-bvB6Lj8BwIUpACg4b19TfzbBqjNZS5i1Hrpc1ttJkYIokdh0R1PWWikoJ6KP_cbdIBWQYghZGPY_9rbThCzG4lJTgzKp2med15y7_qKYRY3ujuuNhORddwvNSbbc-EsseBvcCymA-iFN/w640-h480/unclog-sink-drain.jpg" title="How to unclog sink drain" width="640" /></a></div> <br /><p></p><h2 style="text-align: left;">How to unclog a sink in a green way? <br /></h2><p style="text-align: left;">We will start by heating a cup of water until it boils.</p><p style="text-align: left;">Then you will have to throw a cup of baking soda through the sink drain and add the boiling water. <br /></p><p style="text-align: left;">This will make the dirty and grease accumulated in the pipe to peel off.<br /></p><p style="text-align: left;">If the pipe it's very dirty, it probably will ooze out, so, don't worry and be patient and let it get down, leave it act for over 10 minutes.</p><p style="text-align: left;">Then throw the second baking soda cup and the vinegar cup, this will make a fizzy reaction, put the lid on the drain and leave it act for half an hour more.</p><p style="text-align: left;">After that time, boil 4 cups of water, take the lid off the drain and throw the water through the pipe to clean it all along. </p><p style="text-align: left;">And that's all, now the sink drain and pipe are clean :) <br /></p><br />Estherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01101999239152158766noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700154605217010774.post-8522110060261371762018-01-10T18:07:00.002+01:002018-01-10T18:07:33.368+01:00News about the new houseWell, I haven't been tiresome for a while about my new house :)<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway, we are seen slow advances, by now the holes between the three housese is now closed (not the same in the yards...)<br />

<br />
And it's that being in my in-law family is giving me a lot of ideas.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSii6kIzC_inuyIEg_FuHNJlWgarDHOQo16qzyGg7kW9hYJnYf1qaUBZrSP-D1XYIjtETE521Kt9o-I_8jVeNYDHUvXv1dB04NrpkK09AOxys12gD038ESLf0Hc2aX4eSyY3WzEYaRvEz5/s1600/cleaning_plan.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="weekly cleaning plan" border="0" data-original-height="701" data-original-width="450" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSii6kIzC_inuyIEg_FuHNJlWgarDHOQo16qzyGg7kW9hYJnYf1qaUBZrSP-D1XYIjtETE521Kt9o-I_8jVeNYDHUvXv1dB04NrpkK09AOxys12gD038ESLf0Hc2aX4eSyY3WzEYaRvEz5/s400/cleaning_plan.jpg" title="weekly cleaning plan" width="256" /></a></div>
It results that my mother-in-law is one of those persons that always have their home perfect, and now I understand why... she spends the day cleaning!<br />
<br />
And well, saving the distances, because we don't have the same lifestyle, I've been thinking in create some routines to be able to maintain my home clean without having to spend all the weekend cleaning it.<br />
<br />
Well, if you're new here, I have to explain that my new home will be a row-house with 5 floors, 3 of them are the living part and the other 2 are the garage and the basement.<br />
<br />
About the garage and the basement, I'm thinking if I clean them weekly or biweekly, by now I'm going to organize a weekly cleaning of them.<br />
<br />
I want to share with you a printable that I've made to put in my <a href="http://supermamiwannabe-english.blogspot.com.es/2016/10/how-i-organize-myself.html">kitchen board</a>: <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dtlYKSlVLaN1JRPkPsoufd8_1tDP2yrW/view?usp=sharing">Weekly cleaning plan</a>.<br />
<br />
I will laminate it, so we will may mark it as we accomplish the tasks (yes, we, my half-orange will participate too ;D) and when the week ends we will may clean it and will begin again.<br />
<br />
By now I'm thinking about how to organize the week.<br />
<br />
Maybe this way:<br />
<br />
<b>Monday</b><br />
Mop the floors<br />
Pick up and fold the clothes<br />
Clean the attic bathroom<br />
<br />
<b>Tuesday</b><br />
Clean the bathrooms in the first and second floor<br />
Dust the attic and bedrooms<br />
<br />
<b>Wednesday</b><br />
Dust the living room<br />
Clean the kitchen<br />
<br />
<b>Thursday</b><br />
Mop the floors<br />
<br />
<b>Friday</b><br />
Clean up the stairs<br />
<br />
<b>Weekend</b><br />
Change bed sheets & towels<b></b><br />
Laundry<br />
Clean the garage and the basement<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Humm, I'm still thinking about it, I think I leave too many things for the weekend, I have the feeling that I'm forgetting anything...<br />
<br />
Do you have a weekly cleaning schedule?<br />
<br />

That I already have 3 other shepherd costumes... <br />
<br />
And... why am I making another one? Well those costumes are inside a moving box...<br />
<br />
Box number 78, more specifically...<br />
<br />
and box number 78 is located between others 150 boxes here...<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoVsKHB9KtR5Q-ITju1b3iy_hQ15Uzgp4EHdJigNllhn8SaQ1ThgTe-217HP9qEe6qLsxcUXJNo0WSM-fZiPrZ0BwuYg7saaBUpgveKLfaNPHizVtde8u85R5YuMhIr5jWjGfL4k3ByAJd/s1600/IMG_1251.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="402" data-original-width="800" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoVsKHB9KtR5Q-ITju1b3iy_hQ15Uzgp4EHdJigNllhn8SaQ1ThgTe-217HP9qEe6qLsxcUXJNo0WSM-fZiPrZ0BwuYg7saaBUpgveKLfaNPHizVtde8u85R5YuMhIr5jWjGfL4k3ByAJd/s400/IMG_1251.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The photo is not good enough to appreciate but there are around 8 rows in depth... and over them columns of 4 to 6 boxes... a complete chaos...<br />
<br />
<br />
Well, back to what I was talking about, given the fact that the Christmas performance is tomorrow, I've had to buy half meter of sheepskin-lined cloth and make a shepherd costumme.<br />
<br />
Here, I'm sharing with you a step by step guide to do it, I know, I know, it's late for this year, but, who knows, maybe next year some of you need to make one. ;)<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOy6wY0J6XQgnmHmm6JqyQ2DOUVR5EPGVcTTqcQHjyCNmPYdWinT_SbLA9xcBR-One92S880MXuv5-t3zV7boV-OSsRJ5pGcTTJ2cKBsv99rlH-qb1TES9RXOYtfnlWlo8Y5XlkjwW6qHz/s1600/shepherd+costume.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="How to sew shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="417" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOy6wY0J6XQgnmHmm6JqyQ2DOUVR5EPGVcTTqcQHjyCNmPYdWinT_SbLA9xcBR-One92S880MXuv5-t3zV7boV-OSsRJ5pGcTTJ2cKBsv99rlH-qb1TES9RXOYtfnlWlo8Y5XlkjwW6qHz/s640/shepherd+costume.jpg" title="How to sew shepherd costume" width="332" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
First, we start using a kid's coat as pattern, putting it inside out and with the sleeve inside the coat to have the shape of the vest, and we cut the outline.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiovvbdQdICehXI5aSSW86gKM2nVe9MIGaQRWMMtsCqUeDRKk7VTUHc_o0y76Z_xBdV5PV0KJYe0-ObHSDXkuQvs8gAK5s28dudVzdGGuIXzntigp6haaAOr5eCI_lBneLK10I4VFLzIZLO/s1600/IMG_1288.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="shape shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiovvbdQdICehXI5aSSW86gKM2nVe9MIGaQRWMMtsCqUeDRKk7VTUHc_o0y76Z_xBdV5PV0KJYe0-ObHSDXkuQvs8gAK5s28dudVzdGGuIXzntigp6haaAOr5eCI_lBneLK10I4VFLzIZLO/s320/IMG_1288.jpg" title="shape shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
We have to place de cut piece over the rest of the cloth (letting the cloth part touching in both pieces) to cut the other face of the vest.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQjqzLR7Gbc4uOY2iwf5Dso7JqCoaNFQAnMxSiHHxV57d4tUyCJ5enCRfBBkSLrmveOlHLTgP8J9ExyYTee9mxpmo_rQ5T8gtY8QjgXhULsmyqqVcJ_r8TNMC_1u6mr_YwklyVbPvB26C4/s1600/IMG_1289.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume shape" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQjqzLR7Gbc4uOY2iwf5Dso7JqCoaNFQAnMxSiHHxV57d4tUyCJ5enCRfBBkSLrmveOlHLTgP8J9ExyYTee9mxpmo_rQ5T8gtY8QjgXhULsmyqqVcJ_r8TNMC_1u6mr_YwklyVbPvB26C4/s320/IMG_1289.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume shape" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Done this, we take one of the pieces, we fold it in the middle and cut it in two parts to make the vest front.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-oBAE4KOZL6Ecy3-T9uu0qTqK3sIUIR_JQHp2H2ZoNG89OOP6fSUbmeDnfzjZtZ_QndeHY-27Uo5CHLB6YLxa9A-tDGqUFDtVzb-M4hhrIdIJorQuP7BMByYWqtq6fa43E1NPr6e3dJ57/s1600/IMG_1290.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="vest shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-oBAE4KOZL6Ecy3-T9uu0qTqK3sIUIR_JQHp2H2ZoNG89OOP6fSUbmeDnfzjZtZ_QndeHY-27Uo5CHLB6YLxa9A-tDGqUFDtVzb-M4hhrIdIJorQuP7BMByYWqtq6fa43E1NPr6e3dJ57/s320/IMG_1290.jpg" title="vest shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Now, with the help of the same coat thatn before, we measure the distance between the shoulder and the neck.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoGdhL1V4C9v6_Rvh3rQf8RH7XWqkkEeg5UJBisgdSFu57w7RIFmblfrf0M6r3Xf26U_07ZxnngLNZ0LrGcrfCjwf7nKwK4ek47Lh1TNwt6_jpl3CT9ixtejRt0fIin7twYFf3cVhBi_SZ/s1600/IMG_1291.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoGdhL1V4C9v6_Rvh3rQf8RH7XWqkkEeg5UJBisgdSFu57w7RIFmblfrf0M6r3Xf26U_07ZxnngLNZ0LrGcrfCjwf7nKwK4ek47Lh1TNwt6_jpl3CT9ixtejRt0fIin7twYFf3cVhBi_SZ/s320/IMG_1291.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
And we take that point as the start of the vest collar and cut it (I've cut it almost like the armhole)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipH1pt2JbJR73neEleuZ7AXH3zWI6JlyFvHT2Hx5XPWlTYp3fp-58QGxe4y0LENZqR7cfJQCmLEFTjcOgCFld51mD3e6hQgLb4I_lfPS2JMdjC9mkKyh_dej9WaOJBA3AGAqy_WQ3vAMws/s1600/IMG_1292.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume vest" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipH1pt2JbJR73neEleuZ7AXH3zWI6JlyFvHT2Hx5XPWlTYp3fp-58QGxe4y0LENZqR7cfJQCmLEFTjcOgCFld51mD3e6hQgLb4I_lfPS2JMdjC9mkKyh_dej9WaOJBA3AGAqy_WQ3vAMws/s320/IMG_1292.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume vest" width="240" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJm8yvjeB3YEiVx-HCvLqg0SGUJKit14JKJD_Ap_Dwhr8TWjaL5qOiaeHWCIHRwJtttJSRddVw7vrriA47vTcfWVRUr0gMBIhWxUv6V2SvJKP12Ee-Q3YlUCbPoc_lTSaqLffKvWHcvpKJ/s1600/IMG_1293.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJm8yvjeB3YEiVx-HCvLqg0SGUJKit14JKJD_Ap_Dwhr8TWjaL5qOiaeHWCIHRwJtttJSRddVw7vrriA47vTcfWVRUr0gMBIhWxUv6V2SvJKP12Ee-Q3YlUCbPoc_lTSaqLffKvWHcvpKJ/s320/IMG_1293.jpg" title="DIY shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
and now we present it to see how it will look. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia5hVGtj2ZZX4ALBIjk2uwKnJh2Qwd0sQnGZVkd-uPYL2ehyphenhyphenvs2QUK1puCXaHOf1JvXiX6BTVHfz8bmgJ_B4V5lSOuQKyyakMU3pGtaB8aiI_K1UoXnalk2Lt0GoaTmci-GiTSyfdVQPn_/s1600/IMG_1294.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume vest" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia5hVGtj2ZZX4ALBIjk2uwKnJh2Qwd0sQnGZVkd-uPYL2ehyphenhyphenvs2QUK1puCXaHOf1JvXiX6BTVHfz8bmgJ_B4V5lSOuQKyyakMU3pGtaB8aiI_K1UoXnalk2Lt0GoaTmci-GiTSyfdVQPn_/s320/IMG_1294.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume vest" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
we put the pieces inside out (with the sheepskin-lined inside) and sew both sides and shoulders.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhM6hdWg8dYHBR9SBEmcFyVdCYYi8MN0VKD5aWnOBC-CnF6v9FUG5To5KOTHS7dRxM9d0yhUSfYvBVlQyo7HmPK1Xvm6dbLSbLIGvQbBXXcGUrYtOkOIKf9W9FEY-piwNRJ-XILnBDSuYs/s1600/IMG_1295.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhM6hdWg8dYHBR9SBEmcFyVdCYYi8MN0VKD5aWnOBC-CnF6v9FUG5To5KOTHS7dRxM9d0yhUSfYvBVlQyo7HmPK1Xvm6dbLSbLIGvQbBXXcGUrYtOkOIKf9W9FEY-piwNRJ-XILnBDSuYs/s320/IMG_1295.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume" width="240" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbG1nJo_sAN859pIhfUKdq8lTye0zZimEm-ggclBJiTwUkEaifF9K8BvYrjeaEcbelrMZ6XyyrGdpTz6d2qpFvEQMmi4fxUUdyDbyoRS3Y9jeMR23CFtIiZmHdDyR-cNsjkxsGm20Tt_Z9/s1600/IMG_1296.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbG1nJo_sAN859pIhfUKdq8lTye0zZimEm-ggclBJiTwUkEaifF9K8BvYrjeaEcbelrMZ6XyyrGdpTz6d2qpFvEQMmi4fxUUdyDbyoRS3Y9jeMR23CFtIiZmHdDyR-cNsjkxsGm20Tt_Z9/s320/IMG_1296.jpg" title="DIY shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Well, so the main part is already finished, now, just to use all the rest of cloth pieces I've done the complements.<br />
<br />
This piece was a bit irregular but it was great to create a little bag. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMCPX3dOfMq6OIQupAio4asUAuPQGcXe2veOVItMimhzgRiYPKdL3BpTGgssicQy9NOWS6IJUGn8xS03IfWSb5aMRhPJ3RZYahWZhlDtfEEK7HTPrZ2Cx76wWCY2JFy1X8ze4jMBUOaxuV/s1600/IMG_1297.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMCPX3dOfMq6OIQupAio4asUAuPQGcXe2veOVItMimhzgRiYPKdL3BpTGgssicQy9NOWS6IJUGn8xS03IfWSb5aMRhPJ3RZYahWZhlDtfEEK7HTPrZ2Cx76wWCY2JFy1X8ze4jMBUOaxuV/s320/IMG_1297.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I just had to fold it like if it was an envelope and sew both sides. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhopvZHQshS-hwO0BAF07DYQ639acuD-MGPe01DtdlYUlTu1C0W5RBHph91cklv3T4_ERFeux7CMmvbeS3QhVl1MJtAZkre_P1XCG_4sRY4w_6VcBBwJLaxe6RAP9pEl1up3AGeEto7-8aW/s1600/IMG_1299.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="bag shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhopvZHQshS-hwO0BAF07DYQ639acuD-MGPe01DtdlYUlTu1C0W5RBHph91cklv3T4_ERFeux7CMmvbeS3QhVl1MJtAZkre_P1XCG_4sRY4w_6VcBBwJLaxe6RAP9pEl1up3AGeEto7-8aW/s320/IMG_1299.jpg" title="Bag shepherd costume" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Just add a long piece to make the strap and we have a shepherd bag.<br />
<br />
<br />
I didn't have a long enough piece so, I used two pieces sewed between them.<br />
Another option would be to use another kind of strap or an old belt.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyTpG5hvO1dhTM_Rl3nTcyyf05sbmpQ2LrjQkkUTyMsZ6BrYdg2GAF-qiFyUxrOo2nIy3YsRtaVMsPJAGHC4_fqToJ7xaAhl1UxghRDOWnMWMoIx3bfruSfnfsypPXXrr9y-JHSqI9dhSP/s1600/IMG_1300.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY bag shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyTpG5hvO1dhTM_Rl3nTcyyf05sbmpQ2LrjQkkUTyMsZ6BrYdg2GAF-qiFyUxrOo2nIy3YsRtaVMsPJAGHC4_fqToJ7xaAhl1UxghRDOWnMWMoIx3bfruSfnfsypPXXrr9y-JHSqI9dhSP/s320/IMG_1300.jpg" title="DIY bag shepherd costume" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw2o3ZcpNOArLvW0Ai3GEp6kdkkRiKCbbb4EpDnjAKsL5czFmLpbjl_gJwAheAbt1PPtZ5wFRJDQw3Y76ZvNF5FMiru-p5STCy_PuHivIK2QQK-cOkAYVNoeZ0T1oBwSRKdZo-WhwJE3tl/s1600/IMG_1301.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw2o3ZcpNOArLvW0Ai3GEp6kdkkRiKCbbb4EpDnjAKsL5czFmLpbjl_gJwAheAbt1PPtZ5wFRJDQw3Y76ZvNF5FMiru-p5STCy_PuHivIK2QQK-cOkAYVNoeZ0T1oBwSRKdZo-WhwJE3tl/s320/IMG_1301.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiM-AWAuREO-lXsmrolCPqe4s109LyUGbR_8aH5Lp9-K8bo9fPCvG6iuxdXxh_bOT1QtBpSSoqj3PJgSy-fSBzNQgd7hJcPYhzZHxFMX7quQ8mXSazjFKG7GaWZHODOW6I5ujdXgP-PIUE/s1600/IMG_1302.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="bag shepherd costume" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiM-AWAuREO-lXsmrolCPqe4s109LyUGbR_8aH5Lp9-K8bo9fPCvG6iuxdXxh_bOT1QtBpSSoqj3PJgSy-fSBzNQgd7hJcPYhzZHxFMX7quQ8mXSazjFKG7GaWZHODOW6I5ujdXgP-PIUE/s320/IMG_1302.jpg" title="bag shepherd costume" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I've done too a pair of leg-warmers.<br />
<br />
<br />
I measured the height of my kid's leg between the knee and the ankle, and to have the wide of the piece I took measure of a tracksuit leg, so they will fit perfectly over his clothes.<br />
<br />
The same than before, I fold it with the shepherdskin-lined insied and sew both edges making a sort of tube.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwOQZREoXHoPb-edZhlisE8iuKmJrBeZe99fld-uSKSGECuZwr5UjQUDuiOAgBqs7SZ-q6V4YFUDevCnYVpLLOd12_jTv_dBKqzGtrwhBDORP-cUeu3CpDujX2baToSjkPZ1xqekH_INyS/s1600/IMG_1303.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sew shepherd costume leg-warmer" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwOQZREoXHoPb-edZhlisE8iuKmJrBeZe99fld-uSKSGECuZwr5UjQUDuiOAgBqs7SZ-q6V4YFUDevCnYVpLLOd12_jTv_dBKqzGtrwhBDORP-cUeu3CpDujX2baToSjkPZ1xqekH_INyS/s320/IMG_1303.jpg" title="sew shepherd costume leg-warmer" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Then I took a rubber band and with the measure around the leg just under the knee I sew it in one of the sides.<br />
<br />
<br />
Of course, the rubber band is smaller than the leg-warmer, so I sew it in zig-zag, stretching a bit the band.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdNSnk6aq1xY_cN1p7QoH1zozX4J17dDi_lXJJVi-V1MSXQ5ZDcD-wbALZ88rBmAkIfvC712y8or0O9Ck2eTukpTSZYmH8kd1wB9TZlBQ2EmDiphdEn8uN2PhEWEzZU7xbZYoFEtjjtwsM/s1600/IMG_1326.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="shepherd costume leg-warmer" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdNSnk6aq1xY_cN1p7QoH1zozX4J17dDi_lXJJVi-V1MSXQ5ZDcD-wbALZ88rBmAkIfvC712y8or0O9Ck2eTukpTSZYmH8kd1wB9TZlBQ2EmDiphdEn8uN2PhEWEzZU7xbZYoFEtjjtwsM/s320/IMG_1326.JPG" title="shepherd costume leg-warmer" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Then with the small pieces that remained I've done too an oval with the shape of a hat hole and with small pieces I've put it sides creating a shepherd hat quite fine.<br />
<br />
Et voilà, here we have a complete shepherd costume done in record time and by just 5€.<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
So, to our house (or to my parent's in-law, depending on if we have left our flat or not) will come Clyde, our Elf.<br />
<br />
<br />
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, two years ago we started a new tradition at home.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMO3eHsr8qt59dnGUz__oYaqqkXZlmls40aEUHeeW7VdGsw62TiW_Y640CyruSJBcXnMkmUAHUHsJZMvHq_snx1UFR72y9KSOPrgvGgwXTwiCV0pYmTHcoozuwK_vvqsFn2POumoiWUiJj/s1600/elf_on_the_shelf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Elf on the Shelf - Christmas tradition" border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="640" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMO3eHsr8qt59dnGUz__oYaqqkXZlmls40aEUHeeW7VdGsw62TiW_Y640CyruSJBcXnMkmUAHUHsJZMvHq_snx1UFR72y9KSOPrgvGgwXTwiCV0pYmTHcoozuwK_vvqsFn2POumoiWUiJj/s400/elf_on_the_shelf.jpg" title="Elf on the Shelf" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/0976990709/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=0976990709&linkCode=as2&tag=supermamwanna-21&linkId=6cbaa3d1c33d9df8572fd0eaae611979" target="_blank">The Elf on the Shelf</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="//ir-es.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=supermamwanna-21&l=am2&o=30&a=0976990709" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" />, is a tradition that seemed beautiful to me, and it brings a book telling the story in english so my kids may practice the language.<br />
<br />
But, what is it about? <br />
<br />
<br />
The elf gets home at the begin of the Advent, to watch the kids and to make his/her report to Santa.<br />
<br />
<br />
We make it coincide with December, the 1st, so he also brings the Advent calendar.<br />
<br />
If it's the first year that you have the elf at home, you should put him/her a name, in the book there are some possible names but you may get creative.<br />
<br />
<br />
The kids cannot touch the elf (you either) or he/she will will lose the magic.<br />
<br />
The elf, if there's someone near will not move and will act like a toy, but when nobody is watching he/she may move, change the position or even make some pranks, you only have to take a look on <a href="https://www.google.es/search?q=elf+on+the+shelf&safe=active&biw=1600&bih=769&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjWmb-OirHJAhUK2hoKHezCAF0Q_AUIBygB">Google Images</a> to see how he/she gets fun XD<br />
<br />
Each night the Elf, thanks to the Christmas magic will fly to the North Pole to show the report to Santa.<br />
<br />
The kids, each day when they get up will go to look for the elf and to find the new place where he/she will take.<br />
<br />
At the end of the visit (December 24th) the elf may leave them an official report saying if the kids will be in the naughty or nice list, <a href="http://supermamiwannabe-english.blogspot.com.es/2015/12/final-notice-nice-kid.html">here</a> I leave you the one I made two years ago.<br />
<br />
What do you think? Do you have any special tradition in your family? Do you already have an Elf on the Shelf?<br />
<br />

<br />
I'm in that point right now, is a strange feeling, I'm blocked, things go fine, but something is missing, the life doesn't advance as it should do, is like being in the groundhog day permanently. <br />
<br />
<br />
Today I've been watching my Instagram and I've seen that I started packing the non-essentials for the moving one year ago, OMG! One year already! And I haven't do anything during that time! no-thing, this is what sumarizes this last year in my life, a lot of thoughts but bit of actions, and meanwhile life happens and I just watch it pass....<br />
<br />
And let's give thanks that I took those first boxes for the move to an old flat that my parents owns, otherwise the 'garbage' would have eaten us...<br />
<br />
<br />
So, today, I'm going to start practicing this 5 ways to simplify, to start putting my life in order and to get out from this inaction that has be blocked.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbrdoZaqKJjo3zJTpnyZVKki13YoU-bujzSmsvsZ7FZAjXW7gNuXQQ_09GPZhG57xCCmvTtgiHVlogkqDvp8Na1oC77qKlaPIbEX_72Bmxj34MKvjq53jTvg7TWOKkPoQlIQHY6zKjIIoW/s1600/simplify+life.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="simplify life" border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbrdoZaqKJjo3zJTpnyZVKki13YoU-bujzSmsvsZ7FZAjXW7gNuXQQ_09GPZhG57xCCmvTtgiHVlogkqDvp8Na1oC77qKlaPIbEX_72Bmxj34MKvjq53jTvg7TWOKkPoQlIQHY6zKjIIoW/s400/simplify+life.jpg" title="simplify life" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<h3>
<b>1.- Decide what things you need and what not</b></h3>
<br />
All of us have a big sentimentalism over the objects that bring to us memories, but... is it really necessary to keep so many things? We keep a lot of things without noticing it, so we may take advance of the deep cleanings to get rid of things we don't need anymore.<br />
<br />
Regarding memories, I've decided to use just one 'beautiful' box to keep all of them and they will only be there (except the photo albums).<br />
<br />
<h3>
</h3>
<h3>
<b>2.- Make a cleaning and then organize</b></h3>
<br />
It's a total nonsense to organize the clutter (also to take it with you for a moving).<br />
Begin by making a cleaning in the closets or shelfs you use less, take everything out and think when was the last time you used it and if you see yourself using it again.<br />
If you only keep it 'just in case' throw it! or give it to someone who may use it.<br />
<br />
<h3>
3.- Make your priorities</h3>
<br />
Ok, I know, all of us have a lot of things to do, our homes, our families, our jobs, our hobbies, sleeping is something that is said that is also important...<br />
Well, so, begin thinking in your schedule,times that cannot be changed such as the kids school schedule, your job or the meals hours, and according to this, organize the rest of the day.<br />
It may seem simple, but since I did this and organized my mornings dividing it in hours I live in a more relaxed way.<br />
<br />
<br />
<h3>
4.- Plan your week</h3>
<br />
Dedicate a little time in the saturday or sunday to plan your week. What will be the weekly menu? Do you have to prepare any meal for taking outside home? when will you make your groceries shopping? Is there any kids exam/work this week?<br />
This way you may organize to avoid helping to prepare a maths exam while you're preparing the dinner after coming from doing the groceries, better, isn't it?<br />
<br />
<h3>
5.- Teach the kids to organize by themselves</h3>
<br />
Sometimes the problem is not just our tasks but the chaos from the rest of the family. So teach your kids how to use a daily planner, so you (and they) will always know what to expect from the week and it will be easier for them to organize themselves without your help.<br />
<br />

<br />
Living in a zone with a real state market totally halted is a pity, but, you know what? It has finished, 'finito', finally we may turn the page. <br />
<br />
<br />
We sell our flat to a nice family and I hope that they will be as happy as we have been there.<br />
<br />
<br />
And, once said that.... Now I may start planning my new house!!!!<br />
<br />
<br />
Uuuuoooohhhhh!!!! Now I have to use all my decorative skills XD<br />
<br />
Also, since we have sold the flat with all the furniture, excepting a kids bedroom I'm going to have a white canvas to decorate :)<br />
<br />
<br />
¡Oh, yeah!<br />
<br />
I'm gonna show you a mini-tour through the house, is an attached house, is devided in five floors, oddly enough I always said that I didn't want a house where you enter and have to climb the stairs to go to the habitable zone... and well, you may imagine what happened right? Yes, when you enter you find the garage and the stairs to go up to the resto of the house...<br />
<br />
<br />
Well, lets, start with the tour, first in the basement we have a big room to prepare family meetings where will be a small kitchen and we have a fire place:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRY5dUPub3UN8nAhfOI3p4K8AambV0dwk9kImk85b_7sk83N9Y0c_ScV819QoGtL0l4QqiiscMhbKJensgpjzTImmg1vmp7UkohyaaRzwe54LW3WK-81ZlrE_1ELC168vXdBTbKYAkA8bB/s1600/bodega.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="375" data-original-width="800" height="187" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRY5dUPub3UN8nAhfOI3p4K8AambV0dwk9kImk85b_7sk83N9Y0c_ScV819QoGtL0l4QqiiscMhbKJensgpjzTImmg1vmp7UkohyaaRzwe54LW3WK-81ZlrE_1ELC168vXdBTbKYAkA8bB/s400/bodega.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
then in the street level floor we have the garage, and the stairs to get to the first floor where is the living room and the kitchen, this is the living room space, is quite big because most people put there the dining room space too, but I prefer to use the basement or the kitchen to eat.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtvUOzRQxtINdhhUoZuhv5J0jiKGjoudZXodV0pvcXAoMOnb-_Mhpy7WoS2bj-I0luagvgqC2lUyu_dTfSYBATMnM8Y_d0cdgzj944x4CCFSIM6wgaWkMwqbELcGpVj5hzVOTOsp8JJbou/s1600/salon2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtvUOzRQxtINdhhUoZuhv5J0jiKGjoudZXodV0pvcXAoMOnb-_Mhpy7WoS2bj-I0luagvgqC2lUyu_dTfSYBATMnM8Y_d0cdgzj944x4CCFSIM6wgaWkMwqbELcGpVj5hzVOTOsp8JJbou/s400/salon2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_9d0yKZMLiyMQftIuYY5Aa0ujXJBiE39rb4S7z2tztgyWxCoCVlSvymGOk8FDh7b60aH0oBRg7KIO2bUNcfqN1tz9vhZNYKkQIx48SjfRqiwy3yJ2n9XFwn211QMafRf01mbTBislch9S/s1600/salon.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_9d0yKZMLiyMQftIuYY5Aa0ujXJBiE39rb4S7z2tztgyWxCoCVlSvymGOk8FDh7b60aH0oBRg7KIO2bUNcfqN1tz9vhZNYKkQIx48SjfRqiwy3yJ2n9XFwn211QMafRf01mbTBislch9S/s400/salon.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
and this is the kitchen, here will be the frontal:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL-uO-0_icoAAnfHo4kiVzpTnKMszPmPxJ0nIhWDVIspoc5UkjjSbiiklyZrU_XKrksjgNJyjr0evbb3uByVvWprZ2a7oS4UBD0G2M66D5fX_KgO-yWYCqiOOtx554wE0mHxK-T4DY5p15/s1600/cocina.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL-uO-0_icoAAnfHo4kiVzpTnKMszPmPxJ0nIhWDVIspoc5UkjjSbiiklyZrU_XKrksjgNJyjr0evbb3uByVvWprZ2a7oS4UBD0G2M66D5fX_KgO-yWYCqiOOtx554wE0mHxK-T4DY5p15/s400/cocina.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
and this is the side where will be placed the fridge, and in some moment I would like to add a pantry too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKXUWXedVxyfDeKqM9MDCK4yRlHhQqp94W60EVY8SMHwaBB4xy_Z2rgfHhzCkpggfJTdQaIgiJwTqd91ZE5_2AoFPnK-RQ5nJj3UHfMOJupMsN9ZwcPQUoEP8VqiRZsuRXeePw0QsfxrjD/s1600/cocina2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKXUWXedVxyfDeKqM9MDCK4yRlHhQqp94W60EVY8SMHwaBB4xy_Z2rgfHhzCkpggfJTdQaIgiJwTqd91ZE5_2AoFPnK-RQ5nJj3UHfMOJupMsN9ZwcPQUoEP8VqiRZsuRXeePw0QsfxrjD/s400/cocina2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
And then in the third floor there are three bedrooms, one of them by now will be a play room for the kids and they will share the other bedroom.<br />
<br />
<br />
And finally, the attic where will be the office, the laundry room and also a play room (but this one for the adults XD)<br />
<br />
I'm not putting photos of those rooms because by now you will just see the walls...<br />
<br />
I'm totally deluded with my white canvas :D<br />
<br />
<br />

(or at least of the year)Well, this was supposed to have been posted the day after returning from vacations (on September 11th to be more exact).<br />
<br />
I'm one of those who leave the New Year's resolutions for September...<br />
<br />
Yes this year, it has been delayed to October, the back to school has been busy and I didn't find the moment...<br />
<br />
As I was saying, I have always been a girl who works better near the deadline, seeing that the year goes and all is still the same is an incentive to start looking for changes.<br />
<br />
There is nothing like going on vacation to see the other's failure and your own failures and fault (some kind of revelation)<br />
<br />
This holiday I have been thinking a lot about health, fortunately it is not because I have any problem, just for something as superficial as the physical aspect, but hey, our physical appearance is still a reflection of our health, right?<br />
<br />
When Daniel was born, I had a few extra kilos I wanted to lose (5 to be exact) and then I said that <a href="http://supermamiwannabe-english.blogspot.com.es/2015/01/getting-fit.html">I was going to get in shape</a>...<br />
<br />
Well, I just will say that almost three years later I still have the same kilos, and that is that, although I have not done excesses, I have not been constant either in exercising or taking care of what I eat.<br />
<br />
So today, October 5, 2017 I challenge myself to start doing Yoga every day (I tried to follow a cardio video on YouTube and I almost die, so I think I'll start by recovering some muscle tone first ...) and from today I remove all processed products that I may prepare at home by myself.<br />
<br />
I will make a purpose to eat healthier and eat more fruit, I have it a bit forgotten ...<br />
<br />
And you? Any purpose for the return to school?<br />
<br />
In case someone more is encouraged to start with Yoga, I've discovered a channel on Youtube that I find quite friendly and easy to follow (yes, in English).
It's the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/yogawithadriene">Yoga with Adriene</a> channel, it has a lot of Yoga videos for different applications and series to introduce you to Yoga, I started with the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_470940477&feature=iv&src_vid=oBu-pQG6sTY&v=TXU591OYOHA">30 days of Yoga</a>, I'm on the third day and for now I'm really enjoying it.
Let's see if I can get to day 30! :)<br />
<br />

<br />
I'm sorry, I have been a bit unplugged from here lately, I have an excuse, I've been working in a new project: <a href="http://www.jadewebs.com/">jadewebs</a> and you know, I'm thinking in lots of things simulateously.<br />
<br />
Well, back to the topic, I don't know you, but I love all those videos with easy tips for home that are shared in Facebook, how I didn't thought it before? but, do all of them work?<br />
<br />
Some of them are a bit like re-invent the wheel.<br />
<br />
Nowadays I may show you three easy organization tips that are practical for me :)<br />
<br />
<br />
Idea 1: <b>Reuse a hands soap dispenser for the dish soap</b><br />
<br />
Have you ever been in the situation of having your hands dirty and you don't want to touch de dish soap bottle?<br />
<br />
Solution, fill an empty hands soap dispenser with the dish soap, et voilà, you may use it without having to juggling, and also, you will not waste dish soap when washing.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi08G5gyk2e3wroAFYenroQXoQAeHrEzW-S8EZYNhqucy0c23KSudlaSD471pdezcpJR5yMvos2sqXroyy84VvC_pYM4dxcePmnvPlzbg0cKJ4tEpLGg5Oc_Kv_HFpXzUIyLYmBChjZSeL2/s1600/IMG_1112.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Dish soap dispenser" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi08G5gyk2e3wroAFYenroQXoQAeHrEzW-S8EZYNhqucy0c23KSudlaSD471pdezcpJR5yMvos2sqXroyy84VvC_pYM4dxcePmnvPlzbg0cKJ4tEpLGg5Oc_Kv_HFpXzUIyLYmBChjZSeL2/s400/IMG_1112.JPG" title="Dish soap dispenser" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Idea 2: <b>If you have your spices containers in a drawer, write the spice name in the cover.</b><br />
<br />
For me there's nothing worse than having to look for a spice between twenty jars that are almost identical (or just identical if you only buy one brand for all the spices)<br />
<br />
Solution, write what is inside each container in the cover, so in just one glance you will know what jar to take.<br />

<br />
Idea 3: <b>Fold the clothes in vertical </b><br />
<br />
Seriously, this is one of the best ideas I've discovered thanks to Marie Kondo, the author of the famous <a href="https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B01FKRXBBC/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=3638&creative=24630&creativeASIN=B01FKRXBBC&linkCode=as2&tag=supermamwanna-21&linkId=2fdf6f6e6246103698c3f66034a21329" target="_blank">The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up</a><img alt="" border="0" height="1" src="//ir-es.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=supermamwanna-21&l=am2&o=30&a=B01FKRXBBC" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" />.<br />
<br />
If you fold your clothes in vertical, besides of saving space, you will see all your clothes at a glance, so, you will never have to toss all your t-shirts looking for one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjImPyx9j99AmFFvBDPXh4QmAJ1VOW_plusAjU-7cIECGeLoeqe-FNazsKgCo8vt4DLpuiXsmlHEiv8hOAmOIXM2aYfeum6f4KkIZQ1Wtfa2r6gXKJzMZfyrBrQGGVBIi7hlZxk2OkY4J0u/s1600/IMG_1113.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Drawer organization" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjImPyx9j99AmFFvBDPXh4QmAJ1VOW_plusAjU-7cIECGeLoeqe-FNazsKgCo8vt4DLpuiXsmlHEiv8hOAmOIXM2aYfeum6f4KkIZQ1Wtfa2r6gXKJzMZfyrBrQGGVBIi7hlZxk2OkY4J0u/s400/IMG_1113.JPG" title="Drawer organization" width="400" /></a></div>

And you? Have you found any tip that becomes a real improve in your life and not just another way to do something?Estherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01101999239152158766noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700154605217010774.post-74929651223873910132017-08-18T18:16:00.001+02:002017-08-22T18:27:32.872+02:00How to create your own air freshenerIf you are tired of aerosol air fresheners that besides being polluting, they may be toxics, today I share with you a way of creating your own homemade air freshener. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRjdFVUdVhhH9j_zbZ7kzRSBMVkGCK9vZJ7c3VqxidPbhBuEw1t1YdzID36ZawlGX_6WcL4fg47cXcTbp9SvZoU0wJk9_ptIpUp9ehkqam0O3kHbU_4qSs5MFWhZMd25NgKKJaXL5RSOB7/s1600/homemade+air+freshener.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Homemade air freshener" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRjdFVUdVhhH9j_zbZ7kzRSBMVkGCK9vZJ7c3VqxidPbhBuEw1t1YdzID36ZawlGX_6WcL4fg47cXcTbp9SvZoU0wJk9_ptIpUp9ehkqam0O3kHbU_4qSs5MFWhZMd25NgKKJaXL5RSOB7/s400/homemade+air+freshener.jpg" title="Homemade air freshener" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
It's a really easy recipe and the result is great, but I have to say that it don't last a lot.<br />
<br />
<br />
The ingredients are just three, water, baking soda and essential oil.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieUg7CZ7GP_ocmR__EHzWNOrmVQ5IoH3cgdQ9gLHcHkVEGmh3FPDigkA_qOeWwWD-tQpGscSJO_5ekr18Ioo_lepDl-YY4QsJphncVMEuq2KEQeO7GT_coFHddSBYe0-6ttcW1C97NMs8-/s1600/ambientador+casero+ingredientes.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Ingredients Homemade air freshener" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieUg7CZ7GP_ocmR__EHzWNOrmVQ5IoH3cgdQ9gLHcHkVEGmh3FPDigkA_qOeWwWD-tQpGscSJO_5ekr18Ioo_lepDl-YY4QsJphncVMEuq2KEQeO7GT_coFHddSBYe0-6ttcW1C97NMs8-/s320/ambientador+casero+ingredientes.JPG" title="Ingredients Homemade air freshener" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
We put in a sprayer a glass of water, two baking soda spoons and two drops of essential oil (I've used a Loto Flower oil)<br />
<br />
We shake it well until the baking soda gets well dissolved and taste it, if we think that it leaves low aroma, then we may add a bit more oil.<br />
<br />
Talking about the sprayer, firstly I mixed it in the blue sprayer that you may see in the ingredients photo, but finally I put it into an empty perfume sprayer I had because is more comfortable to use and also it makes smaller drops and spread it better.<br />
<br />
As said, the recipe is quite fine and by now I haven't appreciated any spot left by it, but it doesn't last a lot, any idea?<br />
<br />
<br />
EDIT: it works fine over clothes and fabric in general but it leaves rests of baking soda over other surfaces...<br />
<br />
I should improve this recipe... <br />

<br />
Today I'm going to show you how to prepare a delicious apricot jam at home.<br />
<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLURos8Sf_yGIMlYEuyNo3UOGG4V1riEQsRIRo6kqYd3ENOozGb7FYWAlClk1fJi7gC3fv3XXc6OiHjl4HhBESgOTw0irluO282rbnQjpnUpOe-aFphtT1Ut_rOvVSs3EYqV0f16XbeztM/s1600/homemade+apricot+jam.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Homemade Apricot jam" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLURos8Sf_yGIMlYEuyNo3UOGG4V1riEQsRIRo6kqYd3ENOozGb7FYWAlClk1fJi7gC3fv3XXc6OiHjl4HhBESgOTw0irluO282rbnQjpnUpOe-aFphtT1Ut_rOvVSs3EYqV0f16XbeztM/s320/homemade+apricot+jam.jpg" title="Homemade Apricot jam" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Ingredients:</b><br />
<br />
- Ripe apricots<br />
- White sugar<br />
- Half lemon<br />
<br />
<b>How to prepare it:</b><br />
<br />
I must say that I made the jam to avoid the apricots get ruined, I had so much of them and they were so riped that I shoud do anything with them or I should throw them to the garbage...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqftcdOM9fEtCk5AvcCyhytU5xsdDL_S7Zy7x3Gj1TPbpKZcGMr9ky-epLb-W7sFzHLEGiI1LTJLYowxWBj1hkEYKl61m9jBcy8DFyQhAOMysWj6T9xvegSMNcYYbZSF7lmhrYIl0eiZI/s1600/albaricoques.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqftcdOM9fEtCk5AvcCyhytU5xsdDL_S7Zy7x3Gj1TPbpKZcGMr9ky-epLb-W7sFzHLEGiI1LTJLYowxWBj1hkEYKl61m9jBcy8DFyQhAOMysWj6T9xvegSMNcYYbZSF7lmhrYIl0eiZI/s320/albaricoques.JPG" title="Apricot" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
First of all you should start cleaning the apricots and then divide and pit them, and then put them in a big pot.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZZGas_vpKgU8zAfFE0w2poZmBZhVt2r5W2ewZ24Qxd6hbfcCBRd1yLAj4MRQ1I5L8h9jhocdeXfI7zV0kQlScm48_Nh8RO5NNHy8zvd-ws7UdiWKyrmlM3g8LdEGxLBZ5fYGtT-3e_II/s1600/albaricoques+cortados.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZZGas_vpKgU8zAfFE0w2poZmBZhVt2r5W2ewZ24Qxd6hbfcCBRd1yLAj4MRQ1I5L8h9jhocdeXfI7zV0kQlScm48_Nh8RO5NNHy8zvd-ws7UdiWKyrmlM3g8LdEGxLBZ5fYGtT-3e_II/s320/albaricoques+cortados.JPG" title="Apricot" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Cover them with water and bring them to boil.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgryTTkIIMcWJ7ya4jKRRCZdPCLEVxfW9wEK-UBlinQy7BNJ8WbDt_utJkjsWpqHI8aQFd7-ljTkBteKoSvsm21pWVWA5SB_epKFgnlrrtFeIQTwbLE2H06WrnKfI5kpwQSomyLpF4amV4/s1600/albaricoques+cociendo.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot boiling" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgryTTkIIMcWJ7ya4jKRRCZdPCLEVxfW9wEK-UBlinQy7BNJ8WbDt_utJkjsWpqHI8aQFd7-ljTkBteKoSvsm21pWVWA5SB_epKFgnlrrtFeIQTwbLE2H06WrnKfI5kpwQSomyLpF4amV4/s320/albaricoques+cociendo.JPG" title="Apricot boiling" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Leave them boiling for 8 minutes and then drain.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi93q5Ar45C87D86bzfK5Rfz-h7_vrPTl0WrYjfhHCZ5I7hkTGgNvOSSRASj6Qq7e5-pIrkONYkUE9IwhTWRNSSdEjSKj7k60oMMHVfXiDiY15wF4SjinjTMFk2-JinTlen3Od6cTFJQI/s1600/albaricoques+escurriendo.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot draining" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi93q5Ar45C87D86bzfK5Rfz-h7_vrPTl0WrYjfhHCZ5I7hkTGgNvOSSRASj6Qq7e5-pIrkONYkUE9IwhTWRNSSdEjSKj7k60oMMHVfXiDiY15wF4SjinjTMFk2-JinTlen3Od6cTFJQI/s320/albaricoques+escurriendo.JPG" title="Apricot draining" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Grind the apricots with the help of a blender. And weigh the amount of purée you have.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgipm60rZQBki6AuQtQYdGX5qQXWVs7ze4WlS0Yv19l0iygDtlcKAa71-5_BO8T6XtYcEUw6HRLqeNkgsRizjvOc6QaJ20DNC5ZYdqyiMrn2geOiOMltgZ40FXWRB-bvLWJvGSm21wywrc/s1600/peso+pure+albaricoque.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot purée" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgipm60rZQBki6AuQtQYdGX5qQXWVs7ze4WlS0Yv19l0iygDtlcKAa71-5_BO8T6XtYcEUw6HRLqeNkgsRizjvOc6QaJ20DNC5ZYdqyiMrn2geOiOMltgZ40FXWRB-bvLWJvGSm21wywrc/s320/peso+pure+albaricoque.JPG" title="Apricot purée" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The way of making jam is easy, the same weigh you have of the fruit you should use of sugar.<br />
As you see I had 653 gr. so, I needed the same amount of sugar.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3moCFot8qgQ-z9Qbue0oO725Q5WcxhyphenhyphenbuYMYEBI6JI-3Rtyaf27EnQqKV08dbWe7TrZCExmmaRoBot3rlvvEuTmJG3y2U-SPcZK25Rt9ddL2ksrB0MADeMEU-pQsdNRIn68a_i2YSlq4/s1600/peso+azucar.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="sugar" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3moCFot8qgQ-z9Qbue0oO725Q5WcxhyphenhyphenbuYMYEBI6JI-3Rtyaf27EnQqKV08dbWe7TrZCExmmaRoBot3rlvvEuTmJG3y2U-SPcZK25Rt9ddL2ksrB0MADeMEU-pQsdNRIn68a_i2YSlq4/s320/peso+azucar.JPG" title="sugar" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Now, put the sugar over the purée in the pot again, take a strainer and add the lemon juice (for this amount of purée I had, I finally used the complete lemon to make the juice, but if don't have so many apricots, probably with half lemon would be enough)<br />
<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi05dkH5vpmN4Vw5TyYbuJ3rutIq-rclrSinsrHi8gUlzijClvHH5ZBdhOCxS70W-OwBSpFed3e5KoWIuR6YCwh2FNAIC2NklmmN0fRfsvdmwgnAJViCwoQOxY_s6lPfuUNA9ngN_DY2Tk/s1600/limon.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot jam" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi05dkH5vpmN4Vw5TyYbuJ3rutIq-rclrSinsrHi8gUlzijClvHH5ZBdhOCxS70W-OwBSpFed3e5KoWIuR6YCwh2FNAIC2NklmmN0fRfsvdmwgnAJViCwoQOxY_s6lPfuUNA9ngN_DY2Tk/s320/limon.JPG" title="Apricot jam" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Heat the pot again (medium temperature), and stir until the sugar dissolves and you will see that it gets to a liquid state, so, you should keep stirring until it thicken, my point is when you lift the spoon and it has a sticky texture a bit dense.<br />
<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHhyFMIy4LtPdnmtDretNiudsL8b9qZ-ibzUKr7HV7-PA8klvSpjzmbV4m5oghqohfSDawU4VSiUTq1TsjkDsbfHJ1FvpVbxWc6v6OGiCnk3fG9qCdVF81SxKYOjKYi9tzXx7xBBx4qxI/s1600/cociendo+mermelada.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Apricot jam" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHhyFMIy4LtPdnmtDretNiudsL8b9qZ-ibzUKr7HV7-PA8klvSpjzmbV4m5oghqohfSDawU4VSiUTq1TsjkDsbfHJ1FvpVbxWc6v6OGiCnk3fG9qCdVF81SxKYOjKYi9tzXx7xBBx4qxI/s320/cociendo+mermelada.JPG" title="Apricot jam" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And when it's a bit less thick than a commercial jam, take it out from the heat, put it in glass jars, and let it cool (it would thicken)<br />
<br />Et voilà, you already have a homemade apricot jam.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Adrian will turn 6 this year, so I've bought him one of those activities books with a bit of all, but Daniel is in that point that he wants to do the same that his brother does, but he doesn't know how to do it yet (he will turn 3 in October)<br />
<br />
So, I've decided to make him his own activities workbook:<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg17RrdJigz04Rty7AvCRxuPzj1HFPCtdWpWh_DxXGDAcm28KORBqCDg9P5zIyi9ZyJV-5UXsAKFRu8MTk15XzicdsZ5RP83cH8qUyzE6l3ZagDXAJWKskOIbb4SVMY_xb23jIcWg6pBLse/s1600/summer+activities+workbook.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY Summer activities workbook" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg17RrdJigz04Rty7AvCRxuPzj1HFPCtdWpWh_DxXGDAcm28KORBqCDg9P5zIyi9ZyJV-5UXsAKFRu8MTk15XzicdsZ5RP83cH8qUyzE6l3ZagDXAJWKskOIbb4SVMY_xb23jIcWg6pBLse/s400/summer+activities+workbook.jpg" title="DIY Summer activities workbook" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
We only need the printed files, the binder, covers and a beautiful paper to act as cover, I've used gift wrapping paper.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuTInj8wobp82ddAXpqHiP1MlKgyn3rKrrDlkFf7dgEDe_Zah2_WGfSEuwp9C8PAvGiq9cuiON7cjX8Oe1f3yctVQCB1Thormqb8tu2DowsTTxSlZ_Q-swwlMpSJLhMyYXF_Id7Aq2uNpm/s1600/cuadernillo+materiales.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY Summer activities workbook - materials" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuTInj8wobp82ddAXpqHiP1MlKgyn3rKrrDlkFf7dgEDe_Zah2_WGfSEuwp9C8PAvGiq9cuiON7cjX8Oe1f3yctVQCB1Thormqb8tu2DowsTTxSlZ_Q-swwlMpSJLhMyYXF_Id7Aq2uNpm/s400/cuadernillo+materiales.JPG" title="DIY Summer activities workbook - materials" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
If you don't have a binder you may go to a copy store, I bought this one years ago in the Lidl store, and I think that I will use it a lot in the future.<br />
<br />
<br />
We cut the gift wrapping paper with a cutter at the same size that the covers.<br />
<br />

<br />
And die-cut the sheets and the cover, I should advice you that when cutting the wrapping paper, it will be better to put it between other sheets, it's so thin that may bend and it would not be well cut.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7EcijBBEX8ZpBeVf64LhhsbMhCNacb3z_SoPD8KC1BDaeffaKOghDFOMWMvhBwH1Dc8khkmoRdz0hOVH4keW6fukImUS_rTNAvh5md0OdQrNNuK27pURwFRcMdpXammuWDrjJnTiFP_DC/s1600/cuadernillo+troquelar.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY Summer activities workbook" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7EcijBBEX8ZpBeVf64LhhsbMhCNacb3z_SoPD8KC1BDaeffaKOghDFOMWMvhBwH1Dc8khkmoRdz0hOVH4keW6fukImUS_rTNAvh5md0OdQrNNuK27pURwFRcMdpXammuWDrjJnTiFP_DC/s320/cuadernillo+troquelar.JPG" title="DIY Summer activities workbook" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Then we place the cardboard at the end, the wrapping paper and the protector to cover and we may bind it.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcg-odSmVZYqEL995u4-bcRLZhPrxMcWBSAjEsOLHdkV3UdC4C6krzZywV3Kdsh5Zba-6ZbELHGzJf0i25oT8rFEc-1yKF3oDrSgdH1G1hbCcXS-kApwARRKYadRscmpF-BiGaBs-Qlk66/s1600/cuadernillo+troquelado.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY Summer activities workbook" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcg-odSmVZYqEL995u4-bcRLZhPrxMcWBSAjEsOLHdkV3UdC4C6krzZywV3Kdsh5Zba-6ZbELHGzJf0i25oT8rFEc-1yKF3oDrSgdH1G1hbCcXS-kApwARRKYadRscmpF-BiGaBs-Qlk66/s400/cuadernillo+troquelado.JPG" title="DIY Summer activities workbook" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
And voilà, activities workbook finished:<br />
<br />

<br />
As Daniel is preschooler, I have just added drawings to paint, but if you want to make a custom book, this may serve you as a base, you just have to look for printables adapted to your kids ages.<br />
<br />
For instance, I've found some interesting free printables here:<br />
- <a href="https://www.education.com/worksheets/">Education</a><br />
- <a href="https://www.allkidsnetwork.com/worksheets/summer/summer-word-worksheet.asp">All Kids Network </a><br />
- <a href="http://www.jumpstart.com/parents/worksheets">Jump Start</a><br />
<br />
And for those who are learning English:<br />
- <a href="https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/worksheets">British Council</a><br />

<br />
<br />
But, how should we storage the leather shoes and boots? Have you ever found that a pair of boots you left in a good state the next winter were totally cracked?<br />
<br />
<br />
To avoid this you just have to make them a bit of maintenance work.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiE4OAZ1A8MD8fDLpGbT5ZBYO8JtvHBJFMABK3MhT4oM1NEiDdWVjy6B4VXukqMDL32zCuvq0-lBsxpcNuggJJL39sHCt9ZdAJDGO2AxTlUlS24doxgSsIr94_Ba9KV4XwM7BXyW_mk5T2/s1600/leather_shoes_maintentance.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Leather shoes maintenance" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiE4OAZ1A8MD8fDLpGbT5ZBYO8JtvHBJFMABK3MhT4oM1NEiDdWVjy6B4VXukqMDL32zCuvq0-lBsxpcNuggJJL39sHCt9ZdAJDGO2AxTlUlS24doxgSsIr94_Ba9KV4XwM7BXyW_mk5T2/s400/leather_shoes_maintentance.jpg" title="Leather shoes maintenance" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
During the winter I use to have my boots in a shoerack, but I keep in a closet the boxes with all the fillers that they brought to maintain the shape.<br />
<br />
<br />
So when the summer comes, I just have to look for the boxes and start filling the boots with the foam and papers to maintain well the shape, mainly with those tall, that are which deform more (I also do this with the Hunter boots, anyway they are so bulky that is the same to keep the boots than the whole box with the fillers)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_bx0-V7DCRNgahyphenhyphenssgogJz52mV1GQqkTYrk4MFfQsqOxYCoH3GgSHYY6GJW-p_bHD95vmctRdnoQjLJYcwEmGZshyoK0bVgO3ssdhfqZJtW4A8FtyEv0DEJ7sTtWT9lMIuzpgiwWzKlO-/s1600/caja_botas.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="caja almacenaje botas" border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_bx0-V7DCRNgahyphenhyphenssgogJz52mV1GQqkTYrk4MFfQsqOxYCoH3GgSHYY6GJW-p_bHD95vmctRdnoQjLJYcwEmGZshyoK0bVgO3ssdhfqZJtW4A8FtyEv0DEJ7sTtWT9lMIuzpgiwWzKlO-/s320/caja_botas.jpg" title="caja almacenaje botas " width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
After that, I clean them with a sponge or a dry cloth to take out all the dirt and dust over them and when they're clean and dry, I spread over them horse fat with a cloth rubbing well.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjZWrZqrfXsMsWJKsyPlLXTn_ldbjkyjmv2wy8fhGQXr1DhwKFi3edABUjolPiUE7fCJiRRsdjlh0xbuhtbTYxMReWEGfj9v6uEiI0lDxpU9uSyCNjYnMGjmvcmuK8qqUE9i4F-cmss05x/s1600/limpieza_botas.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Mantenimiento calzado piel" border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjZWrZqrfXsMsWJKsyPlLXTn_ldbjkyjmv2wy8fhGQXr1DhwKFi3edABUjolPiUE7fCJiRRsdjlh0xbuhtbTYxMReWEGfj9v6uEiI0lDxpU9uSyCNjYnMGjmvcmuK8qqUE9i4F-cmss05x/s320/limpieza_botas.jpg" title="Mantenimiento calzado piel" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Once finished, I put them in their respective boxes and storage them, until the next autumn.<br />
<br />
<br />
And you? Do you use any treatment to preserve your boots?<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
My kid loved it :) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6X8inAGfuSoIVs4ZZ8rdpLbbKY-8gdFxZeDOkw_sYFKBQXoUTjTYVnawVi4qh8O9dQhQcufHz28XQMeMtX_ftmhwrI2CQylE_dX5FTkNIRp6kTTFD6ZdEi5UBFstMNyCXL-wtAAUkr6M5/s1600/DIY_constellations.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="DIY constellations projector" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6X8inAGfuSoIVs4ZZ8rdpLbbKY-8gdFxZeDOkw_sYFKBQXoUTjTYVnawVi4qh8O9dQhQcufHz28XQMeMtX_ftmhwrI2CQylE_dX5FTkNIRp6kTTFD6ZdEi5UBFstMNyCXL-wtAAUkr6M5/s320/DIY_constellations.jpg" title="DIY constellations projector" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
You will need:<br />
<br />
- a Pringles box<br />
- black cardboard cut with the size of the Pringles box aperture<br />
- a sharpie with a color that could be seen over black<br />
- a punch<br />
- constellations images<br />
- wrapping paper and glue to cover the Pringles box (I finally covered it with black masking tape)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju6yv5jXqVFUgXEww32o1F-PVu9y-VKBtgHlyTNqLvJc3rhZx4AzIf1T2q88huO7o6ylOz3pSLJ5nkD0fH_oStjm6tfpCWUQvClkBrHyHYCmv3tbdCK9piLFM6K9wPrOE2xhBV4LWnI8yu/s1600/materiales_proyector.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Materials projector" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju6yv5jXqVFUgXEww32o1F-PVu9y-VKBtgHlyTNqLvJc3rhZx4AzIf1T2q88huO7o6ylOz3pSLJ5nkD0fH_oStjm6tfpCWUQvClkBrHyHYCmv3tbdCK9piLFM6K9wPrOE2xhBV4LWnI8yu/s320/materiales_proyector.jpg" title="Materials projector" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
There are some constellations images in Internet, I used these:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhATmz0aGSktsJIDiGUhY4oBAn4Z-yv74TnMA2qCstY9lqJKp4n_kHOv_Sk_IG2bme-PVfPXW0N3uKfuYpg4bx8hFqeZqyzLHfaF8hBhZh-Qf_q67Eh0Ncp8UCaPPxNtokca9yu9wWyuV9t/s1600/constellation_patterns.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="constellations" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhATmz0aGSktsJIDiGUhY4oBAn4Z-yv74TnMA2qCstY9lqJKp4n_kHOv_Sk_IG2bme-PVfPXW0N3uKfuYpg4bx8hFqeZqyzLHfaF8hBhZh-Qf_q67Eh0Ncp8UCaPPxNtokca9yu9wWyuV9t/s320/constellation_patterns.jpg" title="constellations" width="274" /></a></div>
<br />
You just have to print and cut them to separate, you don't need to do it over the spots lines, because you are just going to use it as a pattern to do the holes with the punch.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwmP_kDknRYZd2yiNnwgFUic6-pk6hKcaFu-z3r-HTRNKmikVBWpjW7Bduc6rHuFhiRzwjxf4z6G8HPMXhfzjbbfTXXdOm6hP3bAQyNfftpy5NpqS-yXHfdndEQHSffUn0c8QhYX86BNq1/s1600/perforado_constelaciones.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="making holes constellation" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwmP_kDknRYZd2yiNnwgFUic6-pk6hKcaFu-z3r-HTRNKmikVBWpjW7Bduc6rHuFhiRzwjxf4z6G8HPMXhfzjbbfTXXdOm6hP3bAQyNfftpy5NpqS-yXHfdndEQHSffUn0c8QhYX86BNq1/s320/perforado_constelaciones.jpg" title="making holes constellation" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Try to do it over a padding and resistant surface, such as a carpet, trying to do it over the hand is awful.<br />
<br />
Put it as centered as you can, and after doing the holes is a good idea to take the paper out and try to make them a bit bigger moving the punch. And write too the name of each constellation with the sharpie.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz5Gp1LsvbvEjTRU3qghZMqGgBlrNfhDepR2FTOux0Ojqb70vohG2zviipM0rtZzDBwIBrLqpDfxVpvGbcM6W-9Q9xM1Z1yONdcSj5BRIQuWCKPsbVhHEsJMZZtkt3UAPRBBDkFoEZPglI/s1600/constelaciones.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="constellations" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz5Gp1LsvbvEjTRU3qghZMqGgBlrNfhDepR2FTOux0Ojqb70vohG2zviipM0rtZzDBwIBrLqpDfxVpvGbcM6W-9Q9xM1Z1yONdcSj5BRIQuWCKPsbVhHEsJMZZtkt3UAPRBBDkFoEZPglI/s320/constelaciones.jpg" title="constellations" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Now you have to make a hole in the metallic bottom of the Pringles box (better with a drill, and better in the center..., ahem...)<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD4I10L5tx0t8GLzb8As6rILV7yhc85mNgAbjBISg8_a6_dNVPm_uPXalXwS6s81upZnBOctlXnFJcvQKq1d7EimGSV4gdDC1SUYHv2KQxZ-Ws7pvmSvbQZxX2OrnkJAkWcdOp4-jHSh5v/s1600/agujero_proyector.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="constellation projector" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD4I10L5tx0t8GLzb8As6rILV7yhc85mNgAbjBISg8_a6_dNVPm_uPXalXwS6s81upZnBOctlXnFJcvQKq1d7EimGSV4gdDC1SUYHv2KQxZ-Ws7pvmSvbQZxX2OrnkJAkWcdOp4-jHSh5v/s320/agujero_proyector.jpg" title="constellation projector" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now you just have to decorate the Pringles box as you want to and you already have your projector<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTf-llQ0nKoQ_eYgswuLS2-zluCn3h5Y9Y-A1hud8WhKpx-vMMipdOGlToc3sKeqQiY6NDZChBayimyzBPWSWFC9ZpcbDopda_Unf3tawCdoTEV7Lt5PiVTJTVFax1AJazJgKRD-_zp6wi/s1600/proyector_constelaciones.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="constellation projector" border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTf-llQ0nKoQ_eYgswuLS2-zluCn3h5Y9Y-A1hud8WhKpx-vMMipdOGlToc3sKeqQiY6NDZChBayimyzBPWSWFC9ZpcbDopda_Unf3tawCdoTEV7Lt5PiVTJTVFax1AJazJgKRD-_zp6wi/s320/proyector_constelaciones.jpg" title="constellation projector" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Now put one of the disks inside the Pringles lid, close it, et voilà, here you have the Leo Constellation:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4jwuWnqdTH7Pey_rnKbDH7QfkWLiV_a6xhbF14G_GdlwgcTgwTO9qw5VrNwz27DgYKKh9Hxwl7NrXdM2vD4pXyPIrpO_bmqPsB8WuPftUhI3EaB7_3qnq_fvaNlQaApOk0l4S4hRTA9_-/s1600/constelacion_leo.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="constellations projector leo" border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4jwuWnqdTH7Pey_rnKbDH7QfkWLiV_a6xhbF14G_GdlwgcTgwTO9qw5VrNwz27DgYKKh9Hxwl7NrXdM2vD4pXyPIrpO_bmqPsB8WuPftUhI3EaB7_3qnq_fvaNlQaApOk0l4S4hRTA9_-/s400/constelacion_leo.jpg" title="constellations projector leo" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I'm sorry for the photo, it is difficult to do it with the mobile objective....<br />

<br />
The musty smell in clothes may be due to different reasons,
sometimes it is simply a thick garment that has not dried well at all,
it can be a piece that we've forgotten wet in a corner, or simply that
the clothes have been in the washing machine longer than due.
<b></b><br />
<b><br /></b>Sometimes when washing the garment again that smell doesn't go away, if is your case, try these tricks:<br />
<br />
- If you forgot clothes in the washer and now you have musty smell in them, you just have to go back washing programming by adding <b>a cup of baking soda</b> in the detergent compartment.<br />
<br />
- If the towels have not dryed well and smell musty, you have to wash them again in the washer with <b>two cups of white vinegar</b> , then tend them and make sure they get completely dry (in addition to removing the smell they will be softer by the descaling effect of vinegar)<br />
<br />
- If you have clothes with a very strong odor, put them in the washer and replace detergent by a glass of <b>apple cider vinegar</b> . If you want to increase the effectiveness, you can also add half a cup of <b>lemon juice</b> and a cup of <b>baking soda</b> .
<br />
<br />
By now, it has been enough for me to wash clothes with a glass of apple cider vinegar to remove smells, and don't worry, the laundry will not smell like a salad ;)<br />

<br />
To see where I am and where I want to be actually...<br />
<br />
You know, I'm getting older (I'm going to turn 37 in September) and I'm aware that most of my intentions are the same one year and the next... definitely if I don't find 'the moment' it is because they are not the adequate intentions or they are badly considered.<br />
<br />
So this year, my personal intentions or goals are reduced to just two, I want to create a new web about design, looking for a future where I could be entrepreneur (it would be nice, isn't it?) and to improve my photographs and dedicate them the time they deserve (just an example, I have a reflex, I'm not a beginner and I know how to edit photos, but finally I take the photos for the blog with my iPhone and don't edit them at all, just to put the title... I need to improve that)<br />
<br />
By now, I've started with the Wordpress design and I've signed up in a photography course, well, in December we will see if these two intentions are more realistic than the other past years ;)<br />
<br />
Now is perfect for me <a href="http://supermamiwannabe-english.blogspot.com.es/2016/02/just-bit-of-motivation.html">that printable</a> I made a year ago...<br />
